In Hungary, Mother’s Day 2022 is celebrated on the second Sunday in May. On this day children give flowers and presents to their mothers. Most of the children made beautiful artistic crafts for their mothers.

Mother’s day actually begins to celebrate in 1907, when a young American lady, Anna Jarvis who belongs to the Philadelphia, took the initiative for the first time to pay tribute to all mothers. She had actually taken this step in remembrance of her mother (Mother’s Day 2022), who died prematurely. She wrote letters to many government agencies, the legislatures, and the elite, proposing that one day in a year should be devoted for honoring our mothers.
In 1910, Her efforts finally paid off, when the state of Virginia has celebrated Mother’s Day as an official holiday for the first time. Then many other countries started celebrating it. Undoubtedly, Mother’s Day 2022 is one of the most touching holidays and for us, mother is the most important person who love selflessly.
