Labor Day 2022 in Argentina

Like many countries around the world, Argentina also celebrate Labor day on 1 May.

Labor Day = 1 May 2022

On May 1, 1886, American workers started a strike for demanding an 8-hour workday. This strike and accompanying demonstration ended with violent clash between protestors and the police.

In July 1889, the Paris Conference decided to organize an annual demonstration on May 1 to commemorate the Chicago Labor Initiative. The first International Labor Solidarity Day was celebrated in 1890 in Austria-Hungary, the United States, Norway, France, Belgium, Spain, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Sweden and some other countries Labor Day.

Labor day is also known as – Spring Day or Workers’ Solidarity Day. It is one of the most significant holidays in the world, which is celebrated in almost all parts of the world – Labor Day.
