Labor Day 2022 in Hungary

Like many other countries around the world, Hungary also celebrates a national holiday On May 1 - Labor Day 2022.

Labor Day = 1 May 2022

Hungarians has been celebrating the first day of May (Labor Day) since long ago. They also celebrate this day as a holiday of spring. Later on, the tradition of organizing events and feasts on this day obtained an ideological implication of uniting the labors of the whole world under red banners at the end of the 19th century,

Labor’s Day did not lose its festive importance even after the Hungary people completely rejected the communist doctrine.

Many trade unions organize different festivals in the largest city parks. And a large number of popular artists participate in these festivities.
