How to clean your comb and keep your hair healthy

Everyone cleans makeup brushes, but for some reason they forget about combs. Like all beauty tools, your hairbrush gets dirty with repeated use, especially if you use styling products regularly. Therefore, the comb must be washed!

Along with dirt, hair and cosmetic residues, dust mites, dead skin cells and oils can accumulate on the comb. Such a “growth” on the comb can serve as a hotbed for the growth of bacteria and yeast, so there is a risk of infection. Plus, using a dirty comb makes your hair greasy and needs to be washed again.
Cleaning any comb should begin with the removal of hairs that have accumulated on it during use. After this procedure, it will be much easier to wash the comb.
Whether your combs are made of ceramic, plastic or wood, rinse them in antimicrobial water to disinfect them well. Then wash the brushes with liquid soap, rinse with clean water.
Drying
The washed comb must be thoroughly dried, especially if it is not flat. The fact is that if moisture remains in the volumetric brush, this can lead to unpleasant odors or, even worse, mold and fungi. You can dry the comb with a hair dryer, but try so that it does not touch the teeth with it.
