Review of Huawei’s Watch GT 3 Smartwatch
After a break of a couple of years, Huawei is relaunching the successful Watch GT series and introducing a new smartwatch. The new Watch GT 3 retains all the advantages of its predecessors, but also delights with innovation: advanced technology, quality at an affordable price and attractive design. The watch was unveiled at Huawei’s annual event in Vienna on November 24.

The new Watch GT 3 can offer two different models. Both models are equally attractive from an aesthetic point of view, but differ in body size: the first – 46, and the second – 42 millimeters diagonally. The new watch is made of stainless steel, so it has strength and resistance to both heat and cold. Huawei offers different designs of straps for both models: classic leather and sports stainless steel and fluoroelastomer, so each device can be easily adapted to individual style the owner. In addition, both models are not only stylish but also comfortable, because they are very small: the 46-millimeter model without a strap weighs 42.6 m, and the 42-millimeter model – only 35 g.

Both models are equipped with an AMOLED touch screen with durable Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and a resolution of 466 × 466 pixels. Power and battery
Smart Watch GT 3 will please not only with its appearance, but also with technical parameters, especially long battery life.
Huawei’s new watch lasts for 14 days (or 7 days for the 42 mm model), which is different from the competition. This battery life allows Watch GT 3 users to avoid constantly searching for a charger. In addition, the watch supports the Huawei HarmonyOS operating system, which provides ease of use – we can connect the watch to any Android or Apple device and receive calls with it.

However, the possibilities of a smart watch for listening to music, of course, are not limited. One of the most important functions of a modern smartwatch is sports assistance and health care. The watch monitors health with an improved heart rate monitor supported by the new TruSeenTM 5.0+ system and improved oxygen saturation (SpO2) monitoring throughout of the day. In addition, the device can provide a qualitative assessment of our state of sleep and breathing during it. The watch also has an accurate temperature sensor that detects the temperature of the skin on the wrist.
