Short Note on Lymphatic System
Some colour-less liquid from tissue fluid enters the lymphatic vessels called lymph. The excess tissue fluid is returned to blood through lymph capillaries. Lymph capillaries have valves which prevents the back flow of lymph into the blood.
Functions:
- i) Lymphatic system serves as accessory drainage system of the body.
- ii) It removes the excess fluid and dissolved substances that leak from blood capillaries.
iii) This system transport fats from intestine to blood stream.
- iv) It also helps to defend the body against bacteria and viruses.
Note: Studying abroad is not only a quality education and a diploma that is quoted throughout the world, but also new people, new places, new opportunities. Is it possible to refuse such a thing? Unfortunately, many still refuse, and most often it happens for the same reason – because of the language barrier. It also happens in another way: a person crosses through fears, assesses risks and yet comes to another country, but already on the spot discovers that his level of language knowledge does not reach the required level. What can be done to improve it in the shortest time? Many will argue that in case of emergency it is better to study grammar and read books in a foreign language, rather than entertain yourself, watching your favorite films and series. This is not quite true. Lectures at the university – this is a living speech, which is very difficult to perceive without sufficient experience. Watching movies in the original language is an opportunity to get this experience, and for free and with pleasure. It is recommended to watch already familiar films – in this case you will not have to be distracted by the plot. Do not forget to include subtitles (in the original language, of course) to see and memorize words – so your visual memory will connect. Also subtitles will be useful if you find it hard to perceive an unusual accent.
