Note: Training in one of the UWC colleges under the IB program provides an opportunity to go directly to one of the universities in the UK or any other country whose universities accept final grades on the International Baccalaureate Diploma as entrance exams. Those who want to continue their studies abroad, begin the process of entering the autumn in the second year of study at UWC. In this they are assisted by the employees of the special service working in each college. There, students can consult about universities and specialties, as well as receive advice on the filing of documents. Representatives of many universities specially attend UWC colleges, tell students about their programs and grants, conduct interviews and answer questions that arise. Let’s start with the main thing, namely with IELTS – the test for knowledge of the language, the outcome of which depends the further way. IELTS is a prerequisite for admission to a higher educational institution in the UK, to pass the test you must register on the site. If the result of the IELTS is below 5.5, then for the beginning it is necessary to retrain the English Language Preparation for a period of 1 to 2 semesters, then the Foundation year in the college or university, and only then the admission to the first year of the undergraduate program.
