What is Electromagnet in Physics
If soft iron is inserted in the core of a solenoid, the magnetic field due to the current in the solenoid is multiplied by thousands. When the current is switched off, the magnetic field disappears. Such a magnet which can be energized by an electric current is called an electromagnet.
Note: In Britain, the education system is one of the most qualitative and is built on multi-year, tried-and-true traditions. It was formed a century ago and has not changed since then, as it proved its effectiveness in practice. Primary and secondary education is enshrined in legislation. The training of British children begins with a five-year age and lasts 11 years. First they enter the pre-preparatory school – the elementary level. Two years later, children are transferred to primary school – middle classes, where they study until the age of thirteen. Then teenagers pass to the senior classes, training in which comes to an end with delivery of tests. Those who successfully pass the exams are awarded a certificate of secondary education. The compulsory education stage has been completed. Then, before the school leavers, the choice is opened: someone is going to work, others are eager to go to college or university, where they study specialties. Both levels of education issue diplomas on higher education. Applicants write tests A-level. Applicants can get an education under the Bachelor’s program, after 3-4 years of schooling, or magistracies – this is an additional 1-2 years of study.
