Note: The system of Dutch schools differs from the European one. All children aged 5-18 years must attend school. The first two classes resemble our kindergarten. From the third class, subjects such as writing, reading, counting, and natural science are introduced. Dutch children receive homework only from grade 6. At the end of primary school, each child passes the knowledge level tests and the IQ test. Based on the results of testing, teachers determine the educational level that parents are recommended to choose for their child. There are only three of them. If the child has shown low results, he will be asked to finish the general education school in three years and pass a program of general knowledge. With an average result, several items are added to the program. The training will last 4 years. If the schoolboy “gave” high results, he will have to pore over the textbooks for 6 years, but his training will be tantamount to preparing a college or a lyceum. After such preparation it is possible to apply for admission to the university.
