Methods of Reducing Friction in Physics

Methods of Reducing Friction

Friction can be reduced by the following methods:

  1. The various parts of the machines that are moving over one another are properly lubricated.

  1. In machines, the sliding of various parts is usually replaced by rolling. This is done by using ball bearings.

  1. Where sliding is unavoidable, a thick layer of greasing material is used between the sliding surfaces.

  1. The front of the fast moving objects, e.g. car’s, airplanes are made oblong to decrease air friction.

Note: Many worthy entrants not only lose their right to study, but also lose motivation for studying at school – why get good grades and strive to know more if anyone still comes for whose training the parents will pay? Another drawback is that many students will have to work in parallel to pay for their education. So the effectiveness of such training is reduced – what a successful surrender session can we talk about, if at work the next work. However, there are optimists who tend to see in the commercialization of higher education and certain advantages: even if the student is working in parallel, he can get the necessary work experience, maybe he will even be able to prove himself in the chosen specialty. In addition, earning their education, students become more responsible, they realize how hard it gets to them, and therefore they take a more responsible attitude to their studies.
