In almost all countries of the former USSR, a very large percentage of the population lives almost below the poverty line. And higher education is now very expensive. Parents simply physically cannot afford to pay expensive contractual education. Budget places in universities are constantly being cut. And thanks to corruption, it is often the children of rich and very wise parents who fall on budget places. The bulk of young people with a small income are forced to study either on a contract basis or not to study at all.

So, let us first consider the positive aspects of higher education for a person with an average or low income.

Undoubtedly, it is human nature to strive for the best. If his parents worked all their lives at the machine, then the young man will want to achieve more. And with a diploma there is a certain theoretical probability of getting a good job in the future. And do not stand already at the machine, but earn intellectual labor.
