Note: Comparing American education with ours, I would say this: a student is taken by the hand and conducted on all courses and subjects, while studying at an American university, the student goes all the way himself and as a result is much more prepared for “adult life” and professional activities. Are there any positive aspects in our education compared to the American one? I must admit that there is. For example, teaching foreign languages ​​at universities is much higher in level and quality than in America. This is the problem that most Americans do not speak any language other than English. This is not because they do not want to learn other languages, but because they are poorly taught. I myself had to compare our teaching with them when I took the course of French for the sake of interest. In addition, many students complained that they learn only grammar in foreign lessons, as a result they can conjugate verbs at the right time using a table, but they can not say anything. Remember Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, who never received higher education precisely because they were not sure that this is what they want to do, and did not want to waste money “for nothing”. As a result, most university graduates, even if they do not like their profession, seriously want to do it and, because they took it seriously during the whole training, are issued by good specialists. What can not be said about many of our students who go to study only because “it’s so necessary” and many of whom openly say that they are not interested in the specialty, and they study only because their parents so want. As a result, they leave the universities with full zeros.
