Note: Higher education does not teach the creation of business. Quite right. And this task is not worth it. Yes, there are “business schools”, but this is already on the conscience of their creators. No normal economic and financial institution speaks of what it teaches to create a business. About medical, technical, agricultural universities and say nothing. And financial freedom can be achieved without its own firm. Higher education does not teach investment and money management. It is truth too. Although a good financial education certainly does not interfere with this. Personally, financial and mathematical preparation helps me very much in understanding some aspects of investments and analyzing financial instruments. A standard set of objects. There is a program, all students should study it regardless of their inclinations and interests. It’s true if you are aiming for a red diploma. Otherwise, nothing prevents you from studying the necessary subjects, and by “unnecessary” to teach the necessary minimum for passing the exam and offset. Isolation from practice. Often lectures are read by people who themselves are familiar with the subject of textbooks. As for business specialties and finance, often it is. Much depends on the university. It’s no secret that the popularity of legal and economic education has led to the fact that such faculties were opened by universities that are very far from economics and jurisprudence.
