Unit of Classification
The units of classification are as under:
- i) Species:
Basic unit of classification is species. All members of a species have same number of chromosomes in their cells. E.g. all human belongs from same species.
- ii) Genus:
Different but closely related species are grouped together into genus.
iii) Family:
Closely related genera are grouped together into family.
- iv) Order:
Closely related families are grouped together into order.
- v) Class:
Closely related orders are grouped together into class.
- vi) Phylum:
Closely related classes are grouped together into phylum.
vii) Kingdom:
Closely related phylum are grouped together into kingdom.
Note: Getting higher education is now an integral component of career and life success. The variety of higher educational institutions and forms of education allows, in principle, to everyone who wants to find the necessary algorithm for obtaining higher education. And although formally higher education, received internally, in the form of evening training, is equal, in this area some public prejudices still remain. Distance learning leads the thinking person to find a solution to the proposed problems independently, to choose and use the necessary literature. After all, everything depends on the student, if he needs only crusts, then yes – he paid and wait for the diploma. And if he needs knowledge, then no matter what form of training he is in, he will receive knowledge. It is not so important for the employer what type of training his worker was trained in, it is important for the employee to have knowledge and certain experience in the required field of work.
