Note: Distance education is a new and not yet common form of obtaining a full-fledged higher education. In Europe, it is more than 40 years old and is very popular, both among graduates of schools, and professionals who want to replenish the amount of professional knowledge or get another specialty. The world’s first university with a distance learning method was opened in the UK in 1969. Already the very name of this university, namely the Open University of Great Britain, demonstrated the availability of a new scheme for higher education, thanks to low tuition fees and free attendance of classrooms. The development of distance education in Russia began in May 1997, when a new experiment in the field of education began. The modern remote form of education guarantees a high-grade higher education, a sufficient amount of knowledge according to traditional university programs.
