Definition of Cytoplasm

 

Location:

 

It is jelly like substance and present between nucleus and cell membrane.

 

Composition:

 

It is composed of two major components:

 

  1. i) Organic substances like carbohydrates, fats and proteins etc.

 

  1. ii) Inorganic substances like water and salts.

 

Function:

 

  1. i) It provide site for all the biochemical reactions occurring in the cell.

 

  1. ii) It provides all necessary chemicals which are required for all the reactions.

 

Note: Of course, today distance learning is in demand, but how to make sure that it is of real benefit, and, more importantly: how to make sure that it will benefit me personally? The main advantage of the distance learning form is the lack of attachment of the institution to the student’s residence area.
