Character Sketch of Ustad Mangu
Mangu is a tongawala in Lahore. He stands for the common man of the sub-continent. He is keenly interested in the politics of the country. His political awareness comes from contact with educated people who sometimes happen to travel by his Tonga.
He has heard a lot about the New Constitution, which is going to be promulgated on first April. This new constitution promises to ensure basic human rights for all the people in the country. Like everybody else Mangu, too, is very hopeful. He hopes that the new constitution will bring the British rule to an end. Then no gora will be able to bully an Indian.
Mangu shares his awareness with other tongawalas on the Tonga stand. He tells them what he hears from his fares about the new constitution every day. This has made him quite a leader of his community.
Note: While studying, I realized that I want to do other things. Has opened the business, was engaged in design / has decided to be engaged in psychology / to cut out furniture / to travel and tp. Higher education is to blame for what prevented them from doing what they liked. In coaching, there is one amazing, beautiful principle: “Every person makes the BEST choice at the moment.” Then in 16-17-18 years, you simply could not know that in 2-3 years you will repair the bikes and this will be real pleasure for you, will become a matter of life. Then you, did not have that experience, the knowledge that is now. Then you made this choice, because you did not know what you might like in the future. Then you just started to understand what you want in life. The tower was an acceptable option at that time. You did not stick around the yards, drinking beer with “friends”, and began to learn something, maybe they found real friends among classmates, met their future wife / husband, participated in student activities.Do I need education.
