Note: An important national factor in the modernization of education was the priority national project “Education”, which was not only a catalyst for the development of education, but also had a significant impact on the formation of an innovative economy. In the general education system, since 2006, 3 thousand schools have been supporting innovative educational programs. Funds of state support of innovative schools (lyceums, gymnasiums) are directed to purchase of laboratory equipment, software and methodological support, modernization of material and technical and educational facilities, upgrading of skills and retraining of employees of general educational institutions. According to the results of the all monitoring, the following results were achieved: 56% of respondents noted an improvement in the quality of education; 20% – improvement of upbringing; 17% use computer more; 17% – introduction of profile training; 10% – an increase in the number of winners in Olympiads and improving the health of students. In addition, they noted: the improvement of the material base of schools – 87%; expansion of the additional education sector – 63%; renovation of the organizational infrastructure – 57%; activation of work with parents – 47%.
