What is Acceleration in Physics and its Formula
Acceleration with Formula
The rate of change of velocity is called acceleration.
OR
Acceleration depends upon the velocity if the velocity continuously increases or decreases the acceleration will be produced.
- Positive Acceleration
If the velocity continuously increases then the acceleration will be positive.
- Negative Acceleration
If the velocity continuously decreases then the acceleration will be negative
Formula
Acceleration = change of velocity/Time
or
a = (Vf-Vi)/t
Unit
The S.I unit of velocity in M.K.S system is Meter/second + square
or
m/S2
Note: Advantages of self-education: Self-education is an informal individual form of educational activity, in which education is obtained independently, outside the walls of an educational institution. Self-education is necessary for all professionals who want to keep up with the times and achieve success in their careers. Self-education can be both systematic, when the assimilation of knowledge occurs constantly, in accordance with a pre-prepared plan, and situational, when knowledge is replenished as necessary. For its further development in our country, it is necessary: to form a methodological base, the organizational and administrative structure of distance education, to develop a normative legal apparatus, to develop theoretical, scientific and psychological approaches in cooperation with the system of traditional education. And, of course, financial support is needed for the material and technical basis of distance education.
