For students and families in Rawalpindi and across the Punjab region of Pakistan who are seeking to pursue intermediate education, Fazaia Intermediate College presents itself as an option for pre-university studies. Located in New Katarian Iqbal Camp, this institution caters to students aiming to complete their F.Sc (Faculty of Science), F.A (Faculty of Arts), or I.Com (Intermediate of Commerce) before moving on to higher university degrees. The name "Fazaia" often suggests an affiliation or connection with the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) education system, which typically implies a disciplined environment and a focus on academic readiness.
The college plays a role in the local educational landscape by providing a pathway for students to complete their 11th and 12th grades. While some former students express strong loyalty and fond memories, with sentiments like "Ex Fazaian. Once a Fazaian always a Fazaian. Precious memories," it is also important to acknowledge that individual experiences can vary. One former student's review, for instance, highlights concerns about teacher quality and instances of bullying, emphasizing that "soms teachers are great but the other ones are not good enough to be a teachers" and "my personal experience was pretty bad because i was a good student an A grade student at my last school i took admission here because my other school was going far away in the entry test of FIC NUR KHAN i scored 93% and after getting admitted into this school in the monthly exam my grades went down rapidly and i faced bullying and harassment by teachers and students bullying other kids." This indicates that, like any educational institution, student experiences can be diverse, and it is beneficial for prospective students to consider all perspectives.
Despite varying individual experiences, the college's primary objective remains to prepare students academically for university admissions.
