What is Data Modelling?

The identification of data objects and their relationships to other data objects. Data modelling is often the first step in database design. Designers first create a conceptual model of how data items relate to each other. Data modelling involves a progression from conceptual model to logical model to physical schema.

 

 

The research results were published in the journal Brain Connectivity. Scientists compared the data of magnetic resonance imaging of the subjects of 12 students who read the same book – a quality thriller by Robert Harris. The novel was chosen because of the intense plot and serious moral conflicts between the characters.

The students’ brains were scanned after reading part of the book, on the fifth day of the experiment, and the subjects were required to read 30 pages per day.

The world’s libraries store more than 20 billion books, 1.5 billion microfilms and more than 10 billion items of periodicals (newspapers, magazines, etc.). At the same time, North America ranks first in the world in the number of library books, and Europe – in the size of newspaper and magazine collections.
